Mountains
Having lived in Singapore for several years but originally from Switzerland, Cécile Huttenmoser was deeply influenced by the Swiss mountain landscapes.
Far from her native country, Cécile felt the need to interpret the famous Matterhorn in her own way. She then embarked on interpreting other mountains such as Mont Blanc and the Norwegian mountains. Some mountains are simply the product of her imagination.
This work combines painting and sculpture, as the mountains are raised in relief on the canvas. Color once again plays a central role in Cécile's works.
