Drops

Drop paintings are one of the major themes in Cécile Huttenmoser's work.
Inspired by Japanese sakura and her trip to the island of the rising sun, Cécile created a first drops canvas called drops of spring recalling the petals of Japanese cherry trees. Then, like Vivaldi's 4 seasons, Cécile launched into her own interpretation of the seasons with the drops of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Alongside the 4 seasons, Cécile thought about other interpretations of her drops including:
- la vie en rose,
- have the blues,
- Blue Monday,
- sunny sunday,
- welcome to the jungle.
Each work is unique.
